This site is intended to be a resource for folks that work in the Gas & Oil industry or otherwise curious. It shows information for over a million wells. Oil, gas and most others that require state filing. Detail records for most wells can be found by click on the API number.
Included is a satellite view that allows viewing of the layout of oil fields and connecting road and other infrastructure (depending on the quality of the satellite images) The age of the satellite images varies. Don't be surprised if some things have changed.

This site is for information purposes only. Well data is not guaranteed, especailly location or plotting of markers. A large percentage of locations are constructed using estimated longitude and latitude data from state government sources. No warranty expressed or implied.
For those interested, this site uses the Google Map API. Well data and other information is stored in a MySQL database that is processed via PHP scripts. Plotting of markers on the map is accomplished via AJAX communications in the JSON format with the PHP scripts. Most data is from State government sources.
